thursday
nervous as hell for the pink floyd show at skool. i had the second song and i sorta fucked up at one point, i hope no one notice. i was really dissapointed that bryan took in the flesh from me. then again he DID have it before i came around. we made an agreement that i would play it. so i was happy. people said that 'mother' was my best song, i think it was'the thin ice' more drums than 'mother' so that = way betterness. the show was ok, hoping friday would be better
friday
during practice, i go to bryan asking if i can practice 'in the flesh' on drums for a while. then he says that last nite him and jake had something planned out but they didnt do it, so they are goin to do it tonight. WAT ABOUT THE AGREEMENT?!?! but yea, the point of him having the song before me rules me out. but seriously, everyone said i was better than bryan at that song. i played it like the album. but its kool, at least to me. everyone i told got pissed. especially danny, he was dying to see me play that song. i feel bad. but i didnt want to argue so i let him have it. and please, whoever went, DID U SEE ANYTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE ENDING OF 'IN THE FLESH' ? cause i didnt.......
so the show was awesome, it did have its bad times but it was still the best. i loved it. eves made me feel special cause he said that i was an excellent drummer. saying that years from now he will say "when i went to EHS, i had an awesome drummer by the name of miguel..." that would be bad ass if that happen. so for the next show, w.e we do, i want to play good songs. cause i didnt personaly like my songs. but it was something atleast. so yea.... |
